Nicole B. Norkevicius was born in Worcester, MA and presently resides in Plymouth. She attended high school on the Cape and graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School in 1995. She is a 1999 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a 2007 cum laude graduate of Southern New England School of Law (now known as University of Massachusetts School of Law – Dartmouth) where she was the Managing Editor of school’s law review and a member of the Family Law Moot Court team. Upon graduation, Attorney Norkevicius received the Rikki J. Kleiman, Esq. Advocacy in Scholarship award. She was admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2007.
Her practice is focused on all aspects of family law and domestic relations, including contested and uncontested divorces, guardianships, post divorce contempt and modifications, and custody and visitation issues.
Prior to going into private practice, Nicole served as a judicial law clerk for the Massachusetts Probate & Family Court in Bristol, Plymouth, and Barnstable Counties where she conducted research on complex and emerging legal issues and drafted research memoranda, memoranda of decision, findings of fact, conclusions of law, judgments and orders on various domestic relations, probate, and equity matters while working closely with the Justices of the Probate and Family Court.
Nicole volunteers as the Lawyer of the Day on a regular basis in both Barnstable and Plymouth County. She is also a court-appointed Conciliator and an ARC (Attorney Representing Children) Attorney and has received the First Justices’ Award for Pro Bono Publico Excellence for her services.
In addition, Nicole is very active in the Cape Cod Baseball League, where she has served as the President of the Bourne Braves since October 2012.
