Elizabeth R. West

Elizabeth West was born in Plymouth, MA and currently resides in Hyannis. She graduated from Bishop Feehan High School in 2016 and went on to attend Roger Williams University. She graduated from RWU in 2021 summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology. She received her law degree magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts School of Law in 2025 where she was the president of OutLaw and secretary of the UMass chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. She also was the recipient of the National Association of Women Lawyers award for law student of the year. She was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in November of 2025.

Elizabeth primarily focuses her practice on family law matters including divorce, child custody and support, adoptions, and prenuptial agreements, as well as matters involving estate planning and trust formation.

Elizabeth is familiar with a wide array of court proceedings from her time working as a clerk intern at the Merrimack County Superior Court in Concord, NH. She has also worked with the Volunteer Lawyers Project in Boston on family law matters and continues to volunteer in a legal capacity as lawyer of the day in Barnstable County and through WECAN.

When she is not at work, Elizabeth can be found at home with her two orange cats writing novels or trying out new recipes.
